IMEC has a launched a new program designed to help small and mid-sized manufacturers incorporate technology and innovation into their processes. This voucher program will award up to $25,000 in match funding to help companies innovate, improve, and grow.
Who is eligible?
- Existing Illinois manufacturer with between 5 and 500 employees
- Funded projects must be conducted in Illinois
Financial requirements:
- Recipients must provide a cash match of 50 percent of the total project cost, up to $25,000. For example, under
the matching requirement, a company that receives the maximum award of $25,000 must contribute $25,000. - Funding assistance must be approved before project is initiated
Vouchers can be used for a variety of potential projects, including accessing research, developing and implementing new technologies, commercializing products, testing and experimentation, feasibility studies, and legal consultation. Learn more about the types of projects that are eligible here.
